This top floor loft in a former warehouse building has been dramatically converted into a spacious multi-level loft with penthouse and roof deck. Having lived in Tribeca  for many years, the owners were eager to expand their existing “bare bones” loft to a home more suitable for their growing family, as well as maximizing the value of their property. After various considerations, sophisticated multiple levels were created as a result of careful study of the zoning and the landmark regulations to maximize the square footage allowed. The open stair well was designed and located at the center of the apartment with skylights to bring in abundant natural light to the otherwise dark interior of the apartment. This multi-level exposure to ample daylight has given the loft space an expansive sense of space and drama.
